DETROIT (WXYZ) -- Red Wings players and coaches served as guest bell ringers for The Salvation Army on Friday, raising a grand total of $13,699.17 in a two-hour period.
Head coach Jeff Blashill and general manager Ken Holland earned the most of the four groups, bringing in $6,086.13 in Plymouth.
The team of Luke Glendening, Riley Sheahan, and Dylan Larkin collected $3,901 in Farmington Hills, while Justin Abdelkader and Darren Helm took in $3,283 in Troy. Rounding out the group was Hall of Famer Larry Murphy, who raised $429.04 in Birmingham.
During the ten years of the "Red Wings for Red Kettles" campaign, the team has raised over $113,000 for The Salvation Army.
