Fans poured into Joe Louis Arena on Monday night for the 'Toast of Hockeytown.'
The sold-out event benefited the Red Wings Foundation to help grow the game of hockey in Michigan. Red Wings fans got to soak in time with their favorite player. They also got to soak in the wine on-hand.
Dylan Larkin had the longest line of fans dedicated to meet him. Ironically, he couldn't toast any of them.
People kept asking the 19-year-old the same question.
"How did they let you in here when you're underage?" Larkin recited.
"I didn't have any drinks," he promised. "I'm gonna head home now and get some sleep."
