Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann left Sunday's game in the sixth inning with a strained right groin.
It wasn't clear how bad the injury was, and an update was expected before Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

While speaking to reporters, General Manager Al Avila said Zimmermann will likely be out day-to-day and it appears he won't go on the disabled list.
According to Avila, he will likely miss one start.
With a 7-2 record, Zimmermann has the second most wins in the American League for starting pitchers. His 2.52 ERA is also the best among Tigers starting pitchers.
