Lions President Rod Wood is still settling into his new role but will be the elder statesman around the office as Bob Quinn takes over as general manager.
Wood was apart of the front office team, comprised of team owner Martha Ford and special advisor Ernie Accorsi, to bring Quinn into the fold.
"Coming from the Patriots doesn't hurt, having been to six Super Bowl's, being apart of winning four of them is the kind of success we'd like to have here," Wood said of Quinn's past 16 years in the Patriots scouting department.
