M Den in Ann Arbor hosting launch party for arrival of Nike, Jordan U-M gear

The M Den location in Ann Arbor is holding a launch party for the arrival of Nike and Jordan University of Michigan gear.

According to the website, the gear will be available at 11:59 p.m. on July 31 at the campus location at 303 State St.

In July, the university announced a partnership with Nike beginning in the 2016 football season. Nike had previously outfitted the university until Adidas took over in 2008.

The contract runs until 2027 and has an option until 2031. Michigan Football will also be the first football team to wear Michael Jordan's Jumpman brand through Nike.

If you can't make it to the launch party, the Nike and Jordan apparel will be available at all M Den locations and online beginning at 10 a.m. on Aug. 1.
