In August, it was announced that the University of Michigan will be the first football team to wear Michael Jordan's Jumpman brand through Nike.
On Friday afternoon, Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh told the Rich Eisen Show that Jordan will also be an honorary captain during the team's Sept. 3 game against Hawaii.
That is also the first game that the team will debut the Jumpman uniforms.
On the show, Harbaugh also invited Esien to be the honorary captain for the game on Sept. 10.
He said the team also has invitations out to Donald Trump and Michelle Obama.
So @CoachJim4UM says Michael Jordan will be @umichfootball first honorary captain of 2016. Guess who's the 2nd?https://t.co/ZjMjVz5Sek
