Michigan Wolverines Quarterback Wilton Speight could be out for the regular season with a broken collarbone, according to a report from MGoBlog. The website says a source told them Speight suffered a broken collarbone near the end of the Iowa loss.
During his weekly press conference on Monday, Michigan Head Coach Jim Harbaugh said Speight would be a game-time decision, but he was confidence in either John O'Korn or Shane Morris as a backup.
In the fourth quarter, Speight was hit and appeared to suffer a shoulder injury. Trainers worked on his shoulder on the sidelines, but he was out for the Wolverines' next drive.
Speight has started all 10 games this season, completing 160 passes for 2,156 yards and 15 touchdowns. It is likely the Wolverines would go with backup O'Korn if Speight can't play.
