Darren Helm is out six weeks with a dislocated shoulder, Jeff Blashill told reporters on Wednesday.
Helm was injured in Detroit's 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay.
Blashill said Helm won't require surgery but will be evaluated again going forward, DetroitRedWings.com Dana Wakiji reported.
