Seven years ago on Monday, the Detroit Lions capped off a historical season where they did not win a regular season game.

After going 4-0 in the preseason, the Lions finished the regular season 0-16 for the worst season in NFL history.

"No competitor wants to go through something like this," then head coach Rod Marinelli said. "This is not fun to go through, obviously. But there's people going through a lot worse than this."

The team did have some close games, losing by only two points to the Minnesota Vikings and four points to the Chicago Bears and Vikings again.
