COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) -- The Tigers' Class-A affiliate, the West Michigan Whitecaps, hosted Corgi races on the field before Sunday's game at Fifth Third Ballpark.
The event was part of the team's "Dog Day" festivities.
A total of 36 Corgis competed across several preliminary heats, with a Corgi named Baymax winning the championship final and a large trophy.
