The Detroit Red Wings called up rookie Anthony Mantha from the Grand Rapids Griffins last week, and he scored his first NHL goal on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens.
Mantha's family was at the game, including his grandfather, Andre Pronovost, who played for the Canadiens and Red Wings.
After he scored his first goal, the broadcast showed his entire family celebrating. Pronovost was using his phone to take pictures or videos, and even got emotional while watching his grandson score.
