Tuesday evening, TV20 Detroit host Jessica Lundy was emceeing on the red carpet at the annual Ford Freedom Award Gala.
The theme for this year's award show was Men of Courage: Advancing the Narrative of African American Men.
Grammy-award winning artist Usher made a special appearance--and talked to Lundy before the ceremony got underway.
Lundy asked Usher what his advice would be for young men at the start of their careers.
