Metro Detroit weather: Dry now, but tracking more rain, wind & even snow

HIGH WIND WATCH FOR ST. CLAIR COUNTY THURSDAY 8 AM UNTIL FRIDAY 8 AM

Clouds and wind will be on the increase during the day. Rain becomes likely by late today and winds will be quite gusty tonight, Thursday and Thursday night.

Winter weather may not be over just yet! We could see snow in metro Detroit Thursday night.

NEXT 48 HOUR:

This morning: Clouds increase. Temps: 36-43 / Winds: N-NE 5-15

This afternoon: Clouds thicken, with rain returning (60%) by late in the day. Highs: 48-52 / Winds: NE 10-20 with gusts to 25 late

Tonight: Cloudy, windy and chilly with rain (90%). Lows: 39-43 / Winds: NE 15-30 with gusts to 35

Thursday: Rain will transition over to wet snow Thursday night. Windy and raw. Highs: 40-44 / Winds: N-NE 15-30 with gusts to 35

Thursday night: Rain changing to wet snow with some accumulation, especially on cars, decks and grassy surfaces with 1" or less, but higher amounts well north and west of Detroit. Windy. Lows: 32-36 / Winds: N-NW 20-30 with gusts to 40
