Metro Detroit Weather: Showers likely to return

Posted
and last updated

In the aftermath of some heavy rain showers last night, only some patchy dense fog remains. Showers are likely to re-develop but they won't be as heavy or as widespread as what we saw on Monday.

Right now the Labor Day weekend is looks pleasant as the remnants of Harvey look to stay just to our south.

NEXT 48 HOURS:

Today: Some patchy fog this morning, then mostly cloudy, 60% rain chance. Thunder is possible. Highs: 72-76 / Winds: SE 5

Tonight: Any showers end early, then mostly cloudy with patchy fog developing again. Lows: 58-62 / Winds: Nearly calm

Wednesday: Patchy fog early, then partly sunny. Highs: 78-82 / Winds: W 5
