Metro Detroit Weather: Periods of heavy rain expected Sunday

Widespread rain continues across Metro Detroit today through Monday. There's a slight risk for severe storms late day/evening, main threat is for gusts up to 60mph and hail. The southern half most likely impacted (Lenawee, Monroe). The metro area totals through the weekend will mainly range from 1"-2", but west of US-23 totals will be closer to 2"-3".

Sunday: Rain likely, thunderstorms possible. Highs: 61-65 / Winds: ESE 10-20
Tonight: Heavy rain at times with thunder possible. Lows: 59-62 / Winds: SSE 10-15
Monday: Rain showers or a thunderstorm mainly before 2 PM, windy.  Highs: 65-68 / Winds: SSW 15-30
