Metro Detroit Weather: Tracking rain showers and cool temperatures

Rain showers are moving through the area this morning with cool, fall temperatures on tap for today. We are more than 2" below our average rainfall for the month of September, so the rain is not all a bad thing.

Our weekend will be dry with chilly mornings and sunshine.


This morning: Clouds increase again with a 50% chance for a shower. Temps: 49-54 early, then steady or rising / Winds: SW 5-15
This afternoon: Mostly cloudy, a bit breezy with a 20% chance of showers. Highs: 66-70 / Winds: W-NW 10-20
Tonight: Patchy clouds, dry and quite chilly.  Lows: 42-49 / Winds: N 5-10
Saturday: Mostly sunny but cool with early morning temperatures in the 40s. Highs: 64-68
Sunday: Sunny with a chilly start and a warmer afternoon. highs: 67-71 / Winds:
