Snow is coming and crews across metro Detroit tell us they are ready and will be out working in full force.
Final touches are being put on salt trucks and crews are getting ready to roll in the inches of snow that's being predicted for this weekend.
Oakland County is adding 12 additional trucks to their fleet this winter, beginning Sunday.
Wayne County started prepping days ago.
And in Macomb County all trucks have already been fueled and loaded with 55,000 tons of salt, as crews are on standby, some even starting their patrol tonight.
Eighty salt trucks will be out for 69 snow routes.
Crews in all three counties will be working round the clock on Sunday, when the heaviest snow is expected to fall, to make sure the roads are safe.
Remember the roads will be slick. If you do have to drive this weekend, officials say be careful and go slow.
