White supremacist Richard Spencer wants a speaking space at the University of Michigan, the university spokesperson confirms.

The National Policy Institute made the request on Friday night for Spencer to speak on campus. The group reportedly has some flexibility on dates.
The spokesperson says the university will "carefully review the request," taking safety and security into consideration.
