Neighborhood safety is key to Detroit's comeback

I had a a ball moderating a very informative panel discussion on Building Safe Neighborhoods at the recent Detroit Regional Chamber's annual Detroit Policy Conference.  The panel, held at the Motor City Casino and Conference Center, consisted of Detroit Deputy Police Chief U. Renee Hall, Peg Tallet of the Michigan Women's Foundation, Linzie Hall of the Ideal Group and James Ward, Jr. of the Green Acres Woodward Neighborhood Police Patrol.
