Cox Automotive is looking for 3 workers for its Flat Rock location

Ever been in the market for a car?  Well, you probably worked with Cox Automotive. It deals with such brands as Kelly Blue Book, DealerTrack, and Autotrader.

 

The company employs more than 30,000 team members in more than 200 locations worldwide.

But right now its Flat Rock location is looking for mechanics and a technician to help provide the experience customers expect.

 

AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC TECHNICIAN I - Full-time position

-High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

-1-2 years of vehicle service and repair experience; 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

-Any ASE certifications and/or a tech school degree is preferred, but not required.

-Become certified in a minimum of 4 areas with a preference for brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, and electrical.

-Must continue training to maintain current ASE status once obtained and to meet with technology changes as they occur.

 

AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC TECHNICIAN II - Full-time position with $1000 signing bonus

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

-3-5 years of vehicle service and repair experience; 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

-Industry certifications such as electrical and A/C desired.

-OE specific mechanical certifications desired.

-Front end, suspension and brake certifications desired.

-Computer and Scan tool/drivability diagnosis knowledge preferred.

-4 ASE certifications required.

-Must continue training to maintain current ASE status and to meet with technology and changes as they occur.

-Requires some ASE Automotive or Truck Certification or other related certifications

 

AUTOMOTIVE MASTER TECHNICIAN - Full-time

-High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

-1-2 years of vehicle service and repair experience; 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

-Any ASE certifications and/or a tech school degree is preferred, but not required.

-Become certified in a minimum of 4 areas with a preference for brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical.

-Must continue training to maintain current ASE status once obtained and to meet with technology changes as they occur.
