DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 14-year-old has been detained following a fatal shooting in Detroit overnight.
Police say around 12:05 a.m. Friday, a domestic dispute broke out between a 34-year-old woman and 38-year-old man in the 20500 block on Steel.
The woman's 14-year-old son retrieved a gun and fired a shot, fatally injuring the man, according to DPD.
The teen was detained, and the weapon was recovered at the scene.
Police have not released any further information at this time.
