The American Red Cross is assisting residents of Monroe County with disaster relief supplies following severe flooding caused by Sunday's ice storm.

So far, 112 clean up kits have been distributed to area residents by Red Cross mobile volunteer teams.
“As the cleanup continues in the coming days, we will continue to coordinate with our local community
and government partners to address people’s immediate needs and provide support to help them rebuild
their lives.” said Armando Falcone, Red Cross Disaster Program Manager.
If you are in the impacted are, the Red Cross is providing additional Flood Clean Up Kits at the Red Cross Monroe office, 1645 N. Dixie Highway. Kits can be pick up on Thursday and Friday, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
