The city of Detroit demolished four burned out homes that were set fire during Angels' Weekend on the city's east side.
It was part of the promise the city made a couple of weeks ago, and the four homes at the corner of Frederick and East Grand Blvd. have been completely removed.
A deputy fire commissioner acknowledged that the homes posed a danger in the area, and soon after, a city spokesperson said they were on a list to be demolished within two weeks.
Our cameras were rolling to see the heavy dut work being completed.
Fire investigators did make a major arrest of an arsonist behind the numerous fires, another step towards making the city of Detroit safer.
