25 deaths, 206 additional cases of COVID-19 reported in Michigan

(WXYZ) — There are now 5,595 deaths and 58,241 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Michigan, the state announced Thursday.

That's up 206 cases and 25 deaths from the previous day.

The deaths announced Thursday include 13 deaths identified during a Vital Records review.

More than 38,000 people have recovered from the virus. Michigan has now tested more than 600,000 people. The rate of positive cases has decreased by about 100 compared to Wednesday's numbers.
