Chief Craig says he's doing better after COVID-19 diagnosis

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Good news to report on Detroit Police Chief James Craig after he tested positive for COVOD-19 more than a week ago.

We talked with the chief who said he still has some symptoms but he's getting stronger and his appetite is returning.

Craig who is 63 has be in quarantine while he fights off the virus.

The chief initially thought his symptoms were related to seasonal allergies, but a test proved otherwise.

Two members of the Detroit Police Department have died from the virus and hundreds are in self quarantine.
