(WXYZ) — Alfoccino of Auburn Hills will cater lunch and dinner for 1,000 doctors, nurses and all other employees at Henry Ford Hospital West Bloomfield.

The meals will be catered on April 1.

Owner Sunny Palaj says those working on the front lines need to be "thanked and rewarded" for their hard work.

"These people are on the front lines trying to protect us," Palaj said. "As owner of Alfoccino, I want to make an impact on these people for at least one day and hopefully inspire others to follow suit."

On the menu will be chicken, pasta with bolognese or palamino sauce, parmesan cheese and bread. Palaj noted that all coronavirus guidelines will be adhered to.

Lunch will be delivered at 11:30 a.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m.
