LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Ashton Carl celebrated his 1st birthday on April 11, and no one was invited. That's because of the state's current stay-at-home order through April 30.
However, Ashton's parents made the celebration one to remember.
The boy's mother Amanda coordinated a quarantine birthday equipped with caution tape, shirts and a Zoom video call with family and friends.
"Due to Covid-19, we had to postpone his birthday celebration in order to “Stay home, Stay safe” and practice social distancing," Amanda said. "We made the best out of the situation and thanks to technology, we were able to video chat with our closest friends and family and together, we all sang happy birthday!"
