LANSING (WXYZ) — The State of Michigan reported 5,853 deaths and 61,409 positive cases of COVID-19 on Monday, according to numbers released by the state.
That's up 179 cases and seven deaths from the day before.
Nearly 50,000 people have recovered from the virus.
