(WXYZ) — Detroit police vow to put an end to car groups shutting down streets and freeways.
A viral video on John C Freeway near Livernois shows a vehicle burnout in circles which forces traffic to a screeching halt.

Car enthusiasts with Vengeance Auto Club said they want to protect their reputation and set the record straight about their hobby.
They told Action News the video doesn't represent their tight knit group. They also said when they burn rubber safety is never compromised.

They would like for the city to work with them to find a place to display their vehicles.
