ROMULUS (WXYZ) — Detroit Metropolitan Airport will be laying off employees.
The CEO sent an email to Wayne County Airport Authority employees Wednesday.
"The number of layoffs and separations has not been determined," Erica Donerson VP of Communications at DTW. "Most of our workforce is comprised of union employees and negotiations have not begun yet."
