HAMTRAMCK, Mich. (WXYZ) — A family from metro Detroit is searching for answers involving the disappearance of a 25-year-old woman. Camay Lowe was last seen leaving her home on the 5000 block of Trowbridge St., on her way to a gas station at Conant and Caniff.

“No one has heard from her, and she hasn’t used her social media accounts or phone since she disappeared on Dec. 17,” says Camay's cousin Demarius Warren.

Tuesday morning, she and other relatives passed out flyers in the same area, hoping to learn more about what happened.

Her loved ones also tell us Camay suffers from mental illness, and they fear she could be involved in human trafficking. Police are not releasing a lot of details about their investigation into this disappearance, but they do say they’re looking at surveillance videos from nearby businesses and a gas station for possible clues.

Camay is 5 foot, 5 inches tall and weighs between 115-125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue Nike hooded jacket, black pants and blue timberland boots.

Anyone with information is urged to call Hamtramck Police right away.
