A fourth driver has come forward in connection with the separate highway shootings early Thursday morning along I-94 and I-96 in Detroit.
The Southfield woman told investigators her vehicle was struck by gunfire on Dec. 7 on I-94 and French Road during the same timeframe as the other three shootings, police said.
She is the fourth victim, police announced.

The previous shootings occurred in the area of westbound I-94 near Harper and westbound I-96 near Davison.
Investigators believe the four shootings are related and random.
Detectives are currently interviewing the victim and collecting evidence from her vehicle. The evidence will be sent to the crime lab for comparison, police added.

Police believe the suspect was driving a silver or gray sedan. Anyone with any information is asked to call Michigan State Police.
