Avery keeps busy with school and outdoor activities.

“This summer I did a 5K,” he explained. “I usually do a lot of sprints. I’ll start walking, and then I’ll start running as much as I can.”

His favorite subjects in school are art and biology.

But he also has a fascination with the IT world and languages.

“When I get older, I want to be a technical person -- into technology. I also want to be a person who speaks more than one language. My second language I want to [learn] is Sign language,” he said.

When asked how he would describe himself, he gives a quick reply.

“My personality is funny, sometimes humorous, mostly mature a little bit, but very open to growth. I always accept my responsibilities, safe and respectful,” said Avery.

He still dreams of a forever family.

“I’m looking for a mother or a father or both. I’m also looking for a family that would just actually care, and I’d be very respectful and play and act correctly and be very helpful.”

“I just want to be adopted so I can have a family.  One or two people and they don’t have to have children or they can have one or more children,” he added.

“People like me mostly for I’m just a person who never quits trying to do what he needs to do,” he said softly.
