Honorees to compete in Twitter scavenger hunt

Saturday is a big day here at Broadcast House as we celebrate the brightest high school students from across metro Detroit during our Brightest and Best event.

Now, we certainly couldn't bring them here without putting them to the test. These students may have conquered the ACTs and SATs, but can they handle our Twitter scavenger hunt? We'll find out.

More than 200 students and their families will arrive on the grounds this Saturday. This will be the 37th year WXYZ has honored the top high school seniors from across metro Detroit.

The Twitter scavenger hunt has been a staple of this event for years.

We've compiled a list of 10 items for the honorees to check off as they explore the station grounds. This year, we're even incorporating LEGO blocks into our scavenger hunt, so that will be an adventure.

The first four people to complete the challenge will take home great prizes. We have a Gardner-White Furniture gift certificate up for grabs, even Cedar Point and Detroit Tigers tickets.

You can follow all of the adventures on Twitter, just check out the hashtag #BrightestAndBest.
