Homeowner sues Detroit firefighters, city after celebratory photo taken in front of burning home

DETROIT (WXYZ) — A lawsuit has been filed over this controversial photo that went viral across the nation.

Detroit firefighters took a picture in front of a burning home. The owner is suing the city of Detroit, the fire department and the firefighters in the photo for negligence.

A protest is being staged Thursday at 4 p.m. in front of city hall.
