(WXYZ) — It’s almost time to toast to a new year and new decade. Safe celebrations are the goal of a local law firm taking a bold step to prevent people from drinking and driving this New Year’s Eve.

“This is truly about saving lives here on the roadway in Metro Detroit. We want people to go out and enjoy themselves, but have an action plan before you go,” says Flood Law attorney Vincent Haisha.

Vincent and attorney Rachel Wolfe work for Flood Law in Royal Oak, and say making the right choice not to drink & drive is easier than ever.

“All you have to do is take a picture or copy of your receipt from Uber or Lyft, and include ID or license & send to us to be reimbursed,” says Rachel.

She adds, “We all want to get home safely and start the next decade off in the best possible way.”

If you’d like to take advantage of the offer, you can send your receipt, and drivers license or ID copy to: vhaisha@floodlaw.com
