Leave these items home when traveling this Spring Break, TSA says

DETROIT (WXYZ) — If you have big travel plans for Spring Break, TSA agents at Detroit Metro Airport is sending out a friendly reminder of what you can and cannot take with you on a plane.

Toiletries like shampoos or conditioners must be 3.4 ounces or less to be in your carry-on luggage. Bottled water must also be at least 3.4 ounces.

TSA says it will make certain allowances if you're traveling with family or if you're bringing prescription medications, but these items will require additional screening.

Items that must be checked in include: Razor blades, bottle openers, large scissors and tools like pliers and hammers.
