Detroit police are investigating after a man was shot down while driving during rush hour this morning.
Officers were called to the service drive of the Lodge near 8 Mile where they found a vehicle riddled with bullets and a man inside.
Investigators say the victim, a man between 25 and 30, was the sole occupant in the blue Hyundai. Police say they don't really know where the shooting began.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to police, he has yet to be identified.
We're told surveillance video shows several other cars around after the driver came to a stop.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call police.
