(WXYZ) — The Michigan DNR announced the first-ever Bob Ross-themed virtual race, happening next year wherever you are.

The "Happy Little 5K/Run for the Trees" virtual race honors Bob Ross and is part of the DNR's partnership with Bob Ross Inc.

The run is a virtual race, which means you can do it wherever, and it doesn't matter how you reach the finish line, running, walking, hiking or some other way. It just has to be completed between April 17-26, which encompasses Earth Day and Arbor Day.

Registration is open Jan. 1 and participants will get a Happy Little T-shirt, commemorative bib number and an awesome finisher's medal.

You can sign up for pre-regiration notifications here, and learn more about the Happy Little Trees partnership with the DNR here.
