DETROIT (WXYZ) — It’s another case of illegal dumping, this time caught on surveillance video near Blackstone and Pilgrim in northwest Detroit. It happened in Detroit’s Brightmoor neighborhood in the past two days, officials say.

Jonathan Pommerville known as “Detroit Camera Crusader” says video from the past couple days show a man driving a gold pickup truck dropping off auto parts.

“Happy New Year. The guy drops off the parts and then drives over a nice lawn. It’s being maintained by the woman who lives across the street” Pommerville said.

Another clue as to who could be responsible is a package with the name of a local dealer. We’ve reached out for comment after the recent incident, but haven’t heard back yet.

The neighbors in the area are saying they’re committed to seeing those responsible caught and working with police.
