(WXYZ) — The Detroit Institute of Arts has become the latest metro Detroit location to close amid the coronavirus outbreak.

According to the DIA, they will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 13 and stay closed through Sunday, April 5.
"Given the rapidly changing nature of the outbreak, the DIA will carefully reassess the situation in the coming weeks and share updates as they become available," a release stated.

The museum had previously canceled all public events but planned to remain open to the public, but that has changed given the nature of the outbreak.
