(WXYZ) — The father of one of the children murdered in a high-profile investigation from the late 1970s has died. The Oakland County Child Killer case is one of the most notable in Michigan.
Barry King, the father of Timothy King, one of the victims of the Oakland County Child Killer, has died.
King's death was confirmed to 7 Action News Thursday evening by Michael Stebbins, brother of Mark Stebbins who was another victim in the case.

Between 1976 and 1977 a killer, or killers, kidnapped and murdered four children in Oakland County along the Woodward corridor.
Over the years, dozens of suspects have emerged. Evidence has been re-examined, DNA has been analyzed, but still, the murders remain unsolved, leaving four local families in utter grief.
