The devastation caused by the natural “Disaster in Texas” will be remembered for years to come. But so will the outpouring of love, teamwork and generosity from across America. The need is great and now is the time to lend your support!
When an emergency like this takes place, we must be one nation caring for our fellow men, women, children and pets. The pictures and stories coming out of the Lone Star State are gripping, heartbreaking, inspiring and almost unbelievable. Tragically, lives have been lost. Thousands have been evacuated from their homes. Many are without food, water and transportation. Property damage will run into the multi-millions. Businesses, schools and places of worship are being disrupted. It’s a horrible scene!
The recovery process will be long, painful and expensive. And even though the volunteer spirit has been incredible, it will need to continue long after the Disaster in Texas is no longer the leading news story.
