SOUTHFIELD, Mich. WXYZ — Four teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17 have been hospitalized following a drive-by shooting at a birthday party on Detroit's east side.

At about 6:40 p.m. Sunday in the area of Meuse and McKinney, police say someone pulled up in a vehicle and began shooting into a crowd of teens celebrating a birthday.

During a press conference after the incident, Detroit Police Commander Sonia Russell said that out of the four teens who were shot, two are in stable condition. The other two are in temporary serious condition and received emergency treatment for their gunshot wounds.

Police are now on the lookout for a neon green Dodge Challenger or Charger that took off at the scene following the shooting.
