The shooting happened on June 16 at a home on Mettatal Street. Police say Chinasia Elliza-Yvonna Williams was in a room with her brother and some other friends. There was a bullet left in the chamber and it fatally wounded her brother, Chance.

A nearby neighbor was called to the scene and transported Chance to the hospital, where he died.

Williams has been charged with one count each of Involuntary Manslaughter and Manslaughter - Death by a weapon aimed with intent but without malice.

She is expected to be arraigned in 36th District Court on Friday.
