CHELSEA, Mich. — Records obtained by 7 News Detroit reveal why Chelsea's city manager was terminated.
Elle Cole was initially placed on administrative leave before the city council voted to fire her.
The resolution cites alleged misuse of public funds, dishonesty, inappropriate workplace behavior, and a violation of the public trust.
7 News Detroit reached out to Cole for comment when this all unfolded but has not heard back yet.
