DETROIT (WXYZ) — A Detroit mother is making a desperate plea to help find who's responsible for murdering her teenage son.
Markelia Parker says her son was gunned down for refusing to buy marijuana.
"He told him no and the guy just hauled off and hit my son," Parker said. "My kids stayed from down there for three months and Tymarian decided to go down to the store."
Tymarian Tiller, 19, was shot and killed December 13th.
"I've never ever felt the pain that I'm going through now," Parker said. "Every night I try to get on my knees and ask God for forgiveness. I just want him to turn himself in."
The shooting happened around 7 :13 p.m. in the 2200 block of Lafayette. Police say the victim was inside of a party store on Chene when a verbal altercation occurred between he and an unknown suspect.
Now police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect with the help of surveillance images.
