An unusual hit and run left an SUV hanging over I-96 and numerous drivers in harm's way.
The driver took off on foot, after he tore through a fence endangering countless lives.
7 Action News cameras rolled on the frightening scene near Wyoming on the I-96 service drive.
The black GMC Yukon crashed through a protective fence and ended up dangerously close to slipping onto the interstate.
The driver was nowhere to be found when cops arrived.
Police responded quickly and got a tow truck driver on scene at about 8:30 pm.
Thankfully no one was hurt and the worst of it is a fence the city will have to replace.
Police tell me that SUV was not reported stolen. They'll be tracking down the owner for more questioning.
