Police have released new video of an officer desperately trying to save a shooting victim's life.
The just released dash cam video from Detroit police shows Officer Deandre Gaines administering CPR to a shooting victim who had just crashed his Cadillac into a repair shop.
It was Thursday morning on Hayes on the east side.
Moments before 28-year-old Tyron McFolley was shot multiple times while stopped at Chalmers and I-94 - the victim of a calculated hit.
Officer Gaines has had to give CPR many times throughout his career. Sadly this time the victim did not survive.
A native Detroiter, Gaines says his quick response was more than a sense of duty, but a love for his job and the people he tries to help.
Police are still looking for a female driver and male gunman in the passenger seat of a black Sebring who took McFolley’s life.
