FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Ferndale Police dash cam video shows the pursuit of a car last Friday night.
The car slows and turned on four-way flashers as if to stop, but then takes off.

Police say the top speed was 70 in a 40 mph zone on 8 Mile Road. In less than a minute, the car would crash into another car crossing at Wyoming.
Eight-nine-yea- old Mary Lackamp died of her injuries on Monday.
The driver of the car causing the crash ran off on foot and was arrested.
Twenty-six-year-old Harris Howard now faces new charges of Second Degree Murder and Fleeing and Eluding Causing Death, up to life in prison, if convicted.
In court this afternoon it was revealed Howard has a rap sheet that goes to Texas, Pennsylvania and Florida. He was wanted in Texas for violating bond in a drug case.
Howard held his head in his hands during the arraignment, as if coming to grips with his trouble.
The judge ordered Howard held without bond.
The funeral for Mary Lackamp is set for Saturday, February 29th at 2pm at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Berkley.
